February 2012 Real Estate Market Update for Prince William County, Manassas & Manassas Park
Year over year February was a good month for real estate. Manassas City showed the biggest increase of sold volume coming it at 70.9%. Prince William County came in at 18.8 increase while Manassas Park came it at 26.3
Prince William County, Manassas City and Manassas Park all showed an increase in the number of properties sold in February 2012 over what sold inFebruary 2011. Just another sign that hte real estate market is starting to recover cosidering there is extremely low inventory. In February there was only 1224 home for sale. This is a 4% over homes for sale in January. In my January Real Estate Market Update I reported there was 1,174 homes for sale and 427 that had sold.
January's average sold price for the entire county was $277,980 this is an increase of 3% for the same time last year.
